San Bushmen in de Kalahari Woestijn

Bij een bezoek aan Botswana worden de Bushmen, de oorspronkelijke bewoners van Botswana vaak overgeslagen. Reizigers kiezen voor de safari en de wilde dieren maar slaan de mensen van de Kalahari over. De Bushmen zijn ver terug gedrongen en nog steeds worden de Bushmens bedreigd in hun bestaan en leefomgeving. Een bezoek aan de Bush Men is zeer de moeite waard, op verschillende locaties is het mogelijk kennis met hen te maken. Hoewel ze in he dagelijks leven gewone kleren dragen zijn de excursies met de traditioneel uitgedoste Bush men leerzaam en interessant. Rond Ghanzi (Kalahari Woestijn) en bij de Tsodillo Hills (Noord-West Botswana) kun je kennis maken met de Bush men.
